The 2013 Rotation: A Risky Bet

Jacob Turner’s demotion shattered the pitching plan the Marlins were considering for the 2013 season. The 21-year old righty struggled mightily during Spring Training, going 0-3 with a 9.68 ERA, nine walks and only five strikeouts in four starts. He’ll start the season at Triple-A New Orleans, hoping to regain the poise and command he showed during the second half of 2012.

So how does our rotation shape up now? Let’s take a look at the five men that will take command of the mound for the foreseeable future.
